WESTERN DIVISION
Kansas City Chiefs joined as the founding member of the AFL in 1960 as the Dallas Texans. In 1963, the team relocated to become the Kansas City Chiefs and joined as the merged NFL in 1970.
They became the first AFL team to win the Super Bowl by beating the (vs Minnesota Vikings 23-7 in Super Bowl IV.
