Barcelona Dragons

Barcelona Dragons were formed in 1991 as one of the original members of the World League of American Football and later in the resurrected NFL Europe. Along with the Frankfurst Galaxy and London Monarchs, they formed the European Division.
They played at the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuic, built for the 1992 Olympic Summer Games, before moving to the Mini Estadi for their final seasons in 2002-2003 when they were made part of the FC Barcelona organization and renamed FC Barcelona Dragons.
The team folded due to their fan support decreasing and were replaced by the Cologne Centurions.
