NORTH AMERICAN EAST
New York/New Jersey Knights were formed in 1991 as a founding member of the World League of American Football. They qualifed for the playoffs once in 1991. |
They played their home games at Giants Stadium, also the former home to the NFL's New York Giants and New York Jets. |
The team name has since been resurrected, with a few changes, by the British Football League's Caledonian Knights. |
